MIARA SUNG (they/them) is a Korean/American writer and programmer based in Amsterdam. Their writing has appeared in Tropics of Meta, Centre for Experimental Ontology, and is forthcoming in Abolishing Capitalist Totality, a collection by Archive Books. With roots in the Seattle literary scene, they performed poetry at Lit Crawl Seattle and were invited to perform at Hugo House.

Miara has previously worked on search at Microsoft, literary machine translation at a startup, and decentralized finance with funding from the Ethereum community. They have since recanted for their sins, and are currently working on language and humanities education platforms.

A long time ago, they made the indie game 6180 the moon with some friends.
